Love The Game Donations

Where do your donations go

Your donation gets kids on the pitch.

We use every pound to remove cost barriers to grassroots football—paying club sign-up fees, monthly subs and essential kit for children aged 7–16. Funds go directly to FA-affiliated clubs, little leagues and trusted suppliers, never to intermediaries. With your support, more young players train every week, stay active and feel part of a team.

  • 52% — Fees & subs: registration, league, training and monthly club payments.

  • 38% — Kit & equipment: shirts, shorts, socks, boots, shin pads and winter layers.

  • 10% — Transport help: case-by-case support so kids can actually get to training and matches.

  • £10 buys socks and shin pads for one player.

  • £25 covers a month of club subs.

  • £75 provides a full kit (shirt, shorts, socks).

  • Custom amount helps where need is greatest across fees, kits and transport.

Gift Aid blurb (UK)

Add 25% at no extra cost.
If you’re a UK taxpayer, ticking Gift Aid lets us claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, helping your gift go further.

Transparency & safeguarding

We pay clubs and suppliers directly and publish anonymised, quarterly impact updates so you can see the difference you make. We work only with FA-affiliated clubs and follow DBS and safeguarding best practice.

Monthly giving pitch

Join the 90-Minute Club.
Give a small monthly amount (e.g., £7, £12 or £20) and fund a child’s training time every month. Monthly gifts help us plan support through the whole season.

Corporate / community call-outs

  • Sponsor a Team: local businesses can fund a full season of fees and kits for an age group.

  • Workplace Giving: ask your employer about donation matching to double your impact.

  • Fundraise: 5-a-side tournaments, bake sales, sponsored runs—email us to get a pack.

Mini FAQ

How is my donation used?
Allocated to the highest need across fees, subs, kit and essential transport, then paid straight to clubs/suppliers.

Can I restrict my gift?
Yes—tell us “kit only” or “fees only” in the donation note and we’ll ring-fence it.

Do you charge admin fees?
Core admin is covered by sponsors and volunteers. Public donations go to programme costs.

Can I get a receipt?
Yes—enter your email at checkout and we’ll send one (plus a Gift Aid confirmation if applicable).

Long-form section

Every child deserves a place on the pitch. Your donation removes the practical costs that keep families on the side lines—club registration fees, monthly subs and the essential kit that helps young players show up with confidence and stay safe. We work with FA-affiliated clubs, schools and coaches to identify need fairly, then pay support directly to clubs and trusted suppliers so help gets where it’s needed most, fast. Because admin is supported by sponsors and volunteers, public donations go to programme costs. We publish anonymised, quarterly impact updates so you can see exactly what your generosity achieves. Whether you give £10 for shin pads, £25 for a month of subs, £75 for a full kit, or set a custom monthly amount, you’re turning “I wish I could play” into “I play every week.” If you’re a UK taxpayer, please tick Gift Aid to add 25% at no extra cost.
